Not only are some websites visually depressing, they are also simply not that engaging. If you want to move into the next phase of marketing, then your website will also need to be responsive.


Paper vs email marketing

We are bombarded with so much marketing on a day to day basis that it is hard to be effective and stand out from the crowd.
Working in the 'marketing' industry for over eight years, it has been interesting to see the development of electronic marketing and its uptake by businesses due to the small cost of email compared to paper. However, I'm a firm believer that there is still a place for paper based marketing.

Your next client will prove that there is no loyalty… We all think our clients are seriously loyal as we work in an industry of referrals and word of mouth marketing. However every time you get a brand new client, they have proven to you that they aren’t loyal - simply because they have come to you.


The Marketing debate

Marketing IS NOT advertising. Marketing is a two way open communication system that educates your customers so they understand why they need your services - services they may not have previously considered, or have delayed because of a lack of knowledge or 'trigger event' to encourage them to take action now.


Client education

In the world of finance, it is easy to assume our clients know what they need and when they need it. It is easier to believe clients will call when they need you, than it is for you to pick up the phone and tell them - "it's time for you to get a new loan". What if clients do not know they need you?
